Anthurium Process
We traced the outline of a small image (~2x3") and enlarged it. When enlarged, we selected fabrics using complementary colors.
If you are 'afraid' of abstract, enlarging a bit of an image and using color theory to pick colors may be a more comfortable way to explore abstracts.
