Story:
Emily and the Night Sky was designed from a photograph of 2-year-old Emily looking out the living room window at her first snow.
She was precariously balanced on the radiator and fascinated with the falling snow. With a bit of artistic license, the snow falling in the daytime became the night sky populated with Escher-like objects. I made sure to incorporate in the quilt the electrical outlet on the wall.
