PINES FAMILY PHOTOS

Story:

“It's all about the stories, Uncle Seedy. More stories, please!” My uncle, Seemon Pines, was an outstanding photographer and would always tell stories about his photos, describing how he took the shot as well as where it was taken. To hear more of the family stories from his youth, I decided to make a quilt of family photos. There were many images I wanted to include so I decided to make a two-sided quilt — one side of black and white images from his youth up to his wedding, the flip side of color photos up to the present. I was able to present the finished quilt just before he passed.
