Story:
Miss Susi, the bead lady, has been a great friend of mine for many years now.
Emily and I are her market testers for her beaded jewlery - with one delivery she gets the opinion of an adult and a teenager - two very important market segments. After about two years of market testing, it was high time I made a quilt to celebrate Susi, her beads, and our creative relationships. The Bead Lady is for and about Susi (however, my hands were used as templates, not hers).
