The First Amendment

Story:

I am doing my best to remain optimistic, but it seems to me that the world is on fire and the United States may be leading the way. In this quilt, I’m looking at our country through red, white, and blue glasses to remind us that we have the right to speak freely, granted us by the First Amendment of the Constitution. Expressing my angst in art allows me to contribute my voice and vision to current affairs and the state of the Union.
